Micro- and Nanoscale Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow

The aim of this direction is to investigate the micro- and nanoscale fluid flow in porous medium and heat conduction in polymers, and analyze the mechanisms in micro- and nanoscale by Monte Carlo, Boltzmann and Molecular Dynamics. Currently, we research the heat conduction mechanisms in polymers and polymer based nanocomposites to enhance their thermal conductivity using MD and MC, and investigate the fluid flow and phase change heat transfer in micron-sized pores LHP and fuel battery to optimize porous structure and improve its performance.
