The aim of this direction is to research the theoretical foundation and application of the heat transfer in saturated and unsaturated porous medium. Major research direction: (1) The thermal physical phenomena of the plants covered soil; (2) The fluid flow and heat transfer characteristics of porous medium in enclosed cavity; (3) The application of porous medium in energy conservation of the buildings; (4) The application of porous medium in the spacecraft thermal control technology.
